Da Big Island Reggae Massive went take place at da Hilo Civic County Fairgrounds on April 20, 2013. They had some good kine reggae bands.

They also had Live Roots Rock Reggae with Dj Pupa Woesy from The Player Palace.

They had um for celebrate Spliff Clothing Company’s 4th Birthday and da show was put on by Spliff Clothing Company & Native FM 95.9.

About Da Bands

OOKLAH THE MOC

Ooklah The Moc is from Palolo, Oahu, Hawaii. Their name comes from one cartoon called Thundarr The Barbarian, which had one creature called Ookla The Mok who wears tight black speedos.

FATHER PSALMS STUDIO

FATHER PSALMS STUDIO is like one science lab for making da best reggae music.

Ras & Queen Sparrow

Ras & Queen Sparrow was “homeless, cooking food on a little butane single burner for the family, and camping out” before their song went go number one. Their music is “entrancing, prophetic, and inspiring”.
